What makes this facial treatment unique is that it bridges the gap between a mild facial and an invasive peel... unlike other facials, it doesn't just improve the appearance of the skin's texture; the Fire + Ice Facial actually changes the skin at the cellular level. Designed to rapidly and safely resurface the skin, this professional treatment involves the combination of warming and cooling sensations that will leave your skin feeling refreshed and invigorated.

Beginning with an intensive resurfacing masque to heat up the skin, the treatment is concluded by a rejuvenating masque to cool down. THE GS METHOD DIFFERENCE: While we adhere to the traditional iS Clinical Fire + Ice treatment protocol, we adapt it to suit the GS Method custom standard of service. We add in Ultrasonic Vibration Therapy, Extractions, High Frequency, Celluma LED Light Therapy along with extra luxurious products to ensure your skin is treated like absolute royalty. Not just a chemical peel, this treatment is a full experience.

THE FIRE OF THE FIRE AND ICE

The “Fire” portion of the treatment is an Intensive Resurfacing Masque clinically formulated with 18% unbuffered glycolic acid, citric acid, lactic acid, malic acid, vitamin B3, retinol and potent antioxidants, including green tea extracts. The treatment is designed for use on the face, neck and décolleté. Some people find this portion of the treatment to be uncomfortable, but it lasts only 2-3 minutes. Most people however tolerate it well. There is a strong fragrance that resembles cinnamon for this portion of the treatment.

THE ICE OF THE FIRE AND ICE

The “Ice” portion is a rejuvenating, cool, soothing and intensively hydrating masque with hyaluronic acid, Japanese green tea extracts, aloe vera gel, licorice extracts, rosemary extracts and grape seed extracts. This second masque cools the initial peel to leave the skin invigorated and glowing. The Ice portion stays on your face for about 5 minutes.

Rejuvenating Masque contains the hydrating ingredients like aloe vera, rosemary extract, green tea extract, and hyaluronic acid. Great for soothing redness and irritation, which makes it a perfect treatment after lasers or on sunburned skin. During this masque we apply the Celluma Light to encourage energy and collagen production to the cells. This treatment is complemented by serums and creams to guarantee one of the most effective results driven facials you’ll ever experience. 

This treatment can be done 2 weeks after a Botox or filler procedure. It will not disrupt the treatment.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

+ Light therapy cannot be used on those who have epilepsy and those on photosensitizing medications.
+ Presently taking Accutane or other similar medications
+ Certain Antibiotics
+ Retinol, Retinoids or Vitamin A
+ Cold sores
+ Infections on the face that are contagious
+ If you have just undergone any type of Ablative laser treatments 
+ The use of isotretinoin (Accutane) in the past 6 to 12 months 
+ Use of prescription topical keratolytics in the past 6 days (Retin A, Renova, Azelex, Tazorac, Differin etc.)
+ Sunburn or active facial rashes
